Biography

In 2005 Emilia graduated with honours from the Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she studied in the viola class of Professor Dominik Rutkowski. She has collaborated as both soloist and a member of various chamber orchestras with renowned artists such as: Vasko Vassilev, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Bartosz Bryła, Kevin Kenner, Roman Jabłoński, and Anna Maria Staśkiewicz.  In 2008 Emilia founded the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, which is becoming one of the most exciting chamber orchestras in Poland. The BNO was awarded the Fryderyk Prize (or Polish Grammy) for the best chamber music album of the year (2015). In 2013 she led the viola section of the Chamber Orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Soloists during their tour of South Korea. In November 2014 Emilia toured Southeast Asia with The Covent Garden Soloists, giving performances in Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. And during 2016, Emilia led the viola section during the Baltic Neopolis orchestra’s tour of Asia in which they visited a total of eight countries.
